Gregory J. Maag
Gregory J. Maag is the director of Audiology and the owner of Mid America Audiology Group. Greg received his bachelors of science degree in speech language pathology and audiology from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. He continued his education on the campus of University of Illinois-Campaign and received his masters degree in audiology. Greg Maag started his career at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri transitioning to private practice with his father in 1983. He ventured out on his his own and formed Mid America Audiology Group in 1988. As a certified clinical audiologist he has enjoyed helping those with hearing difficulties improve the quality of their lives through the use of the most advanced hearing instrument technology available. Greg and his associate audiologist’s now provide professional hearing services in six locations.
Michelle K. Cramer

- Bachelor’s degree in communication disorders, 1996, Truman State University
- Certified by the American Speech Hearing Association
- Licensed to practice audiology and dispense hearing aids in the state of Illinois since 1996
Dr. Cramer specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of balance, hearing loss, and amplification for children and adults. She is an expert in the most advanced hearing technology available today. She also supports hearing preservation and conservation by providing custom hearing protection and education.
Dr. Cramer was raised in a small town in Northern Missouri. She has three children and is active in her local community church, civic women’s clubs, and
local schools. Dr. Cramer is now accepting new patients at our Glen Carbon and Alton locations.
Chelsea received her doctorate of audiology from University of Texas at Austin in 2009. She has worked in the VA her entire career, specializing in poly trauma patients and hearing aids.
Steven received his doctorate of audiology from Missouri State University. He has been a vestibular and hearing aid specialist with the VA for the past three years.
Tim was born and raised in the St. Louis area. He spent 20 plus years in the logistics industry.
He then found the world of better hearing. His first 4 years was spent working on the technical and management side of the industry. Tim began repairing and building instruments on site in a local clinic. After which he moved to management of two clinics in the St. Louis area. In 2012 Tim pursued his degree in Hearing Instrument Sciences and received his degree as a Hearing Instrument Specialist in 2014.
In 2015 Tim earned his A.A.S.-HIS degree and in 2016 became Nationally Board Certified in Missouri and Illinois.
In 2017 Tim received his supervision permit to help other credentialed students receive their state licensure.
In March of 2018 he became a team member of Mid America Audiology Group.
Tim loves the opportunity of changing his patient’s lives for the better with help of better hearing. Tim and his lovely wife Amy of 25 years and their three boys love to spend their free time at or near the water enjoying boating, swimming, fishing, skiing, and relaxing while watching beautiful sunsets.
